New 72-page book: Fluency Training - Conversations at work A1-A2

Do you work in the Netherlands and want to speak better Dutch at work ☕️💬?

Then this practical 72-page fluency training book is for you! 💬🇳🇱

Why this book?

This book fills a gap in current NT2 materials. Many don’t focus enough on the typical conversations you'll have at work and the simple, useful sentences that you need in the workplace every day.

You don’t need difficult, overwhelming textbooks. You need something simple, practical, and affordable to help you speak Dutch today.

That’s why I created:

📘 Fluency Training: Conversations at Work – Taal op het werk (A1-A2).

It’s a powerful practice book with natural Dutch Q&A’s based on real situations at work - on the floor, in the office, or in the canteen ☕️💬. It is based on the principles of Taalpingpong. Use it as your perfect next step after (any other or) my main beginner (self-study) book Learn Dutch with Victor A0>A2 — a story-based way to learn Dutch that is both easy and effective. I use both books in my in-company training — and my students love them!

✨ From personal experience

Since 2016, I’ve been teaching Dutch in-company around 's-Hertogenbosch (NL). Again and again, I’ve seen the same struggle: Many international employees want to speak Dutch, but they feel lost. They often work irregular shifts, cannot attend regular courses or just don't want to learn from 'back-to- school' textbooks.

I know a little bit what that feels like. In 1992, I worked at EuroDisney Paris as a receptionist—fresh out of European Business School. I spoke fluent French, English, German and even some Spanish at the time. But imagine starting that same job with no French, no English… And ending up in a foreign country, trying to survive on long shifts, with little to no words. That’s the reality for many people who move to the Netherlands for work.

💬 What’s in the book?
