In the Netherlands, measuring is important. Houses, apartments and rooms are small and furniture has to fit. 😉.
I created a new story about Victor and Maria buying furniture.
With this story, I also made a cheat sheet with the most useful Dutch words for talking about space and measurements.
You don’t need difficult math — you just need the right words.
The 4 key words are:
diep – breed – hoog – lang
With just these four words, you can talk about space in most everyday situations.
Magic questions
Hoe groot is ...? Past het (wel)?
How big is it? Does it fit?
These simple questions save time, stress, and wrong purchases.
Real-life situations
buying a table
measuring a room
checking if something fits
👉 Download the free cheat sheet and keep these words ready when you need them.
